The ground on which this website and our apps are offered — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
These terms apply to galaxyvast.ltd and to the apps published from it: Galaxy Notes, Galaxy Ledger and Galaxy Scan. Using either the website or an app means you accept them. Where you download from an app store, that store’s own terms apply to the purchase as well.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use our apps on devices you control, for your own purposes, along with the copies a device reasonably needs — a backup, a sync, an update. You may not sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer or redistribute them as your own work, or put them to a use the law forbids.
The apps, their design, code, features, and all related content, trademarks, logos and materials belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you any right, title or interest in the apps beyond the limited licence to use them. You must not remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notices, including copyright and trademark notices.
Notes, records and scans belong to you. We claim no ownership of them, publish none of them and sell none of them. When a feature genuinely needs to send your content to a server — importing a backup, recognising text in a scan — the privacy policy says so plainly, and the processing stops when the task does.
Where an app signs you in, the credentials and the device are yours to look after. Tell us promptly about anything that looks like a compromise; we may hold an account suspended while we check it out. We will never ask for your password by email.
The apps are offered as they are, and a service you pay nothing for is one we could withdraw. The aim is the opposite: releases go out in stages, and a version that reaches you is expected to keep working. Features grow, move and retire between versions — but a feature you paid for, or one bundled into a version you already hold, is not taken back out of it.
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from use of the website or the apps: a missed deadline, a lost note, the cost of recovering data. For an app used free of charge, our total liability is capped at what you paid us for it, which may be nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may revise these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and a material change is announced in the apps rather than left for you to find here. These terms are governed by the law of the People’s Republic of China, with the courts of Dandong, Liaoning as the agreed venue. Questions about them are as welcome as any other: galaxyvast@galaxyvast.ltd.
Some app features may rely on third-party services, including Google Play services, Google AdMob, Firebase, AppLovin and Meta services. Which services are used can vary by app, region and version. Those providers may process device, diagnostic, usage, advertising or other information as described in our Privacy Policy and their own terms and privacy policies. Where required, we will request consent and provide controls before enabling relevant processing or personalized ads. Their services are provided under their own terms; we do not control their availability or practices.
If an app offers paid features or subscriptions, payment, billing, cancellation and refunds are handled through Google Play and are also subject to Google Play’s terms and policies. Please manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account. Any trial, price, renewal period and included features will be shown before purchase. Deleting an app does not necessarily cancel a subscription.
You may not misuse an app, interfere with its operation, evade security or access controls, use it to violate another person’s rights, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law or Google Play policies. We may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or address abuse.
You retain rights to content you create or submit. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the features you choose, such as storing, displaying, backing up or processing content at your direction. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required for content you submit. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, harmful or deceptive material. App permissions such as camera, photos, microphone or notifications are used for the feature described when requested; you can manage permissions in your device settings, though related features may then be unavailable.
We may provide updates, security fixes or changes to maintain or improve an app. Some updates may be required for continued use. You may stop using an app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement or discontinuation of the app. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Ending use does not cancel an active Google Play subscription.
